Rockin' Graduation Cookies

Graduation cookie platter

Happy Memorial Day everyone!  Unfortunately I don't have any patriotic cookies to share today.  I took a break from cookies this weekend and went white water rafting in West Virginia.  We had an absolutely amazing time camping and rafting the New River.  I highly recommend it!

So, no Memorial Day cookies today, but I did make these cookies recently for my cousin Michael's graduation party.

They had the coolest invitations for the party.  They looked exactly like concert tickets and I just had to make some matching cookies!

Mike is an awesome musician, so I included some replicas of his favorite guitar, a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop.  His band played during the party and they were AMAZING.  I loved their classic rock style.

Guitar cookies

This was one awesome high school graduation party.  I'm so glad that I could contribute with some cookies!  Congratulations Michael!

  1. Wow - that's a lot of detailed piping. Look how thin and perfect those guitar strings are!

  4. Thanks everyone! I used a PME 00 tip for the guitar strings. I always get a little nervous using such a small tip, but it worked out this time :)

  5. These cookies are fantastic. Your guitars are perfect and the piping work on them and on the invitation cookies is just so neat and wonderful.
