A Stomach Cookie?

It's definitely not every day that you receive a request to make a stomach cookie, but that's exactly what this customer was looking for :)

A patient wanted to give her surgeon a thank you gift at her follow up visit.  How sweet is that?!  She requested "thank you faces", a needle and thread, a stomach, and doctor and nurse scrubs in a small gift box.

This is what I came up with!

Penguin Party!

I thought that this post would be appropriate for all of this winter weather we're having on the east coast!

This penguin cookie platter was created for a first birthday party in December.  The bow tie penguins were based on Jimi's super adorable invitation.

I also included lots of snowflakes in different shades of blue.

The idea for these penguin faces came from Jimi's mom, and I thought they were super cute!

And Jimi's mom was nice enough to share this beautiful picture of the cookies displayed at his party.

Birch Tree Cookies

These elegant birch tree cookies were created for a bridal shower.  I've done them before with a green background as part of these antique bridal shower cookies, but I just love how the purple background really made these cookies pop.

I also love the little Philadelphia LOVE statue "carving" that was added to the tree.  My husband and I had LOVE cookies as the favors at our wedding, so they'll always have a special place in my heart :)

Twins Nautical-themed shower

These sailboat cookies were created for a nautical-themed baby shower for twins.  The babies are a little boy and a little girl, so the color scheme was navy blue and pink.

I love those two cute little faces popping out to say hello!

Halloween-Themed Christmas Cookies

Happy New Year!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and new year.  I had a great time relaxing with family and taking a much needed break from cookies!

To start off the new year, I just had to show you these Halloween-themed Christmas cookies.

They were a custom Christmas gift package for a Halloween lover and they were pretty fun to come up with :)

I love that the Halloween cookies look like they've taken revenge on the gingerbread men.

Hopefully the recipient got a kick out of them too!

And now I'm off to the gym to fight for a machine among the hundreds of other New Years Resolutioners :)
