Fertility Doctor Cookies

I love some of the requests that I get for custom cookies.  When a customer wanted to send a thank you gift to her fertility doctor, I just had to say yes.

I mean, it's not every day that you get to make sperm and egg cookies!

Travel-Themed Gift

travel cookies

I recently received a request for a custom thank you gift for a travel agent.  The agent helped my customer plan a trip to the Grand Canyon and she wanted to send a thank gift for planning their fabulous vacation.

There were a lots of "firsts" for me in this package.  Believe it or not, it's the first time I've actually used my airplane cutter.  Also the first time I've done a globe, stacked suitcases, US Passports, and a hand-cut United States cookie!

Here they are all boxed up for shipment.  They're also available for sale on my Etsy page!

Medical-themed thank you gifts

I recently finished a few custom doctor and dentist gifts and am planning on making them available on my website soon.

A Stomach Cookie?

It's definitely not every day that you receive a request to make a stomach cookie, but that's exactly what this customer was looking for :)

A patient wanted to give her surgeon a thank you gift at her follow up visit.  How sweet is that?!  She requested "thank you faces", a needle and thread, a stomach, and doctor and nurse scrubs in a small gift box.

This is what I came up with!

Definitely a fun gift set to design :)  Thanks for your order, Anne!

Doctor Who Cookies

Dr. Who Thank You Cookie Package

Doctor Who cookies!  Yay!  Dr. Who is one of my favorite TV shows, so I was super excited to receive a request for a Doctor Who-themed thank you package.

Dr Who cookies, dalek, cyberman, TARDIS

My husband and I just finished watching all of the "new" seasons on Amazon Prime and we're currently going through withdraw waiting for the next season to come out!  If you haven't seen it you really should check it out, but be prepared to spend A LOT of time in front of the TV.  It's addicting!

Needless to say, I had a lot of fun designing these cookies!

The best part is, I posted this Instagram picture on Facebook and asked what you thought this cookie would become:

The only person who guessed the correct answer - a TARDIS - was the person who was meant to receive the gift package!  So I know that this was the perfect gift package for her :)

Thank you cookie package

Here's another cookie package for the website - this time it's "Thank You" cookies in a large 10x14" box.  Anyone who knows my husband will guess that it was his idea to add the faces to the letters :)   Everything's funnier with faces, right?  They were very loosely inspired by the letter people we all had in kindergarten!

Spring Cleaning

I'm doing some "spring cleaning" this week and found lots of cookies that I never blogged.  So here's a mish-mosh of what I've been doing over the past several months!

These were some updated Facebook cookies to celebrate a big milestone for a popular restaurant chain:

Birthday cookies for Nurse Suzanne:

Veterinary Thank You Cookies

paw print and dog bone cookies

These paw print and dog bone cookies were ordered as a thank you gift for a veterinary practice.  I was given free reign to do what I wanted with the color scheme, so I decided to add some bright colors to the dog bones.  I don't know if you've heard, but neon is totally in right now.  At least that's what Vogue magazine told me while I was getting my hair done last week.  And they're never wrong...right?  Anyway, I hope they're right, but I'm really loving the neon lettering on these dog bones!

I had a complete head smacking "aha" moment while I was making these cookies.  I've never really loved my handwriting, and I've always found it challenging to get my writing straight and evenly spaced when I write on cookies.  And then I realized...I have a KopyKake!  Duh!!!  Why am I not using it all the time when I need to write on cookies?!?  I'm sure this seems so stupid to you, because well, you're right.  It was completely stupid that I didn't think of this before!  So anyway, after I finished Miley's tiara cookies and all of her names were nice and straight and consistent, I decided to do the same thing for my thank you cookies.  This font is Bradley Hand, and I LOVE it!  Ah, it's the little things in life, right?

Girly Cookies

These cookies were ordered recently as a Thank You gift.  The customer was so sweet and wanted to make sure she included something for each member of the family.

Mom is a hobby photographer and Dad likes to go fly fishing:

And their 2 little girls love everything girly!

Hopefully the whole family enjoyed this collection of cookies!

Many thanks to Ali Bee's Bake Shop, for her great tutorial on how to make the ruffles on the princess dresses.  I love the extra dimension they add.  I see many ruffly cookies in my future :)

Tooth Cookies!

How nice is the Mom who ordered these cookies!?  Two of her sons just had their braces removed, so she wanted to thank the orthodontist for "straightening out" her boys :)

Each tooth got a different color rubber band and the "braces" were painted with silver luster dust to make them look metallic.  I remember having braces, and choosing your rubber band colors was always a big decision.  Of course, I was a child of the 90's, so I'm pretty sure I usually had some sort of horrible neon combination :)

The cookies were packaged up with matching ribbons and shipped off to the doctor's office.  Hopefully the orthodontist and her staff enjoyed them!
