For my first project, I tried out the projector on this cute baby shower invitation from Tiny Prints:
I did 4 different cookies, one for each animal, and this is the final result!
Overall, I thought the projector was fairly easy to use. It’s still a challenge to decide exactly how
to translate the image into icing, but I was really happy with the final
result.
I’m also happy to report that the mom-to-be loved the cookies!

Wow! You did an amazing job your first time out with the KopyKake! I recently purchased one as well and have used it about four times now. I agree, it takes a bit to size your image correctly, get it all in focus and then decorate the cookie while keeping your tracing area clear from your own shadow etc. Have fun with it.

ReplyDelete@Vanilla Bean Baker, you're exactly right! It took me forever to figure out how to get the image to be the right size while still in focus. I'm sure it gets easier as you get used to it!
