Holiday Party Cookies

These cookies were made for a holiday gift exchange party.  The client wanted a wintry color scheme that included snowflakes, gift packages, and martinis.  I love the combo and think this package would be great for so many different occasions.

The bows were painted with silver luster dust and I used Wilton's new color mist spray on the snowflakes for that sparkly, wintry feel.

I really like the martinis and think they would be perfect for a birthday gift or a bachelorette party.

I'm working on some other (slightly less appropriate) bachelorette cookies, but I'm undecided on whether or not to post them Send me an email if you want to see them!

Robot Love

I have no idea why, but I've had this image of robot cookies in my head all week.  Luckily, I had some leftover black and red icing from another order, so I decided to make these!

Lovebird Wedding Cookies

When I saw this invitation on Pinterest, I knew I wanted to make it into cookies.

The invitation was designed by Kim at Happy Day Paperie.  Go check out her shop on Etsy.  She has some amazing cards and invitations up there.

I thought this would be a great way to show you some examples of different ways that cookies can be created based on an invitation.

Here's what I came up with:

I think any of these cookies would be fun wedding or shower favors.  The cute little love birds would also make a great Valentine's Day design.

Christmas Cookie Roundup

OK, this post totally does not fit in with your New Years resolution diet, and if you're sick of looking at Christmas cookies you're going to want to stop right here...

Still there??

OK, here's a quick review of all of the Christmas cookies that I never got around to posting over the holidays.

These were my take on some modern Christmas trees, inspired by A Charlie Brown Christmas.

A cute Christmas package ordered by my Grandmom

These three were all made with the same Wilton Santa cutter.  I think next time I'd give the snowman a scarf.

Definitely need to have some Christmas Story inspired cookies!  My family always watches this movie on Christmas eve.  This year, my husband and I were in the Netherlands over the holidays, but we still brought the movie with us and watched it in the hotel room.  It just isn't Christmas without it!

A while back I asked you to guess what cookie cutter was used for these snow man faces:

Well, I'm sorry I kept you hanging for so long.  I swear I didn't mean it!  Keep reading for the answer...
