Happy Memorial Day everyone! Unfortunately I don't have any patriotic cookies to share today. I took a break from cookies this weekend and went white water rafting in West Virginia. We had an absolutely amazing time camping and rafting the New River. I highly recommend it!
So, no Memorial Day cookies today, but I did make these cookies recently for my cousin Michael's graduation party.
Mike is an awesome musician, so I included some replicas of his favorite guitar, a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. His band played during the party and they were AMAZING. I loved their classic rock style.
This was one awesome high school graduation party. I'm so glad that I could contribute with some cookies! Congratulations Michael!
Wow - that's a lot of detailed piping. Look how thin and perfect those guitar strings are!
ReplyDeleteexcellent work very fine and detailed, congratulations
ReplyDeleteThe cookies sure were a hit at the party. The detail of the cookies were amazing. Mike and the band were great. Congrats to the graduate. I'm glad you had a fun weekend on the river.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! I used a PME 00 tip for the guitar strings. I always get a little nervous using such a small tip, but it worked out this time :)
ReplyDeleteThese cookies are fantastic. Your guitars are perfect and the piping work on them and on the invitation cookies is just so neat and wonderful.
